Bake Tilapia
* 3/4 cup accessory virgin olive oil
* 4 tablespoons tomato paste
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon taste
* 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
* 1 large onion, sliced
* 1 unripe bell pepper, thinly sliced
* 4 tablespoons butter
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Parka bottom of a medium baking dish with about 1/4 cup olive oil.
2. In a small bowl, blend remaining olive oil, tomato paste, garlic effectiveness, oregano, salt and pepper.
3. Arrange tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin side up. With a spatula, spread the olive oil and tomato paste assortment over the tilapia, heaping the majority in the centers of the fillets. Arrange onion and green pepper slices on and around the fillets.
4. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, until fish is patently flaked with a fork. Remove from heat, top each fillet with 1 tablespoon butter, and set oven to broil. Barbecue 5 to 7 minutes, until butter is melted and lightly brown.

2. Are you planning on baking it covered, uncovered, or in a "fortune" made of foil or parchment?
Baking time differs with methods, so if you update your post I am on cloud nine to help. Love Tilapia, we eat it very often (usually grilled), and have some great recipes as well if you are interested.
I'm gonna put all the shit on it, wrap it in foil then put it in the oven, but i dont know at what temperature and for how long. its the fillets, so can someone help me out? should the fish be thawed too?
from frozen
wrap in tin clip someone's wings (Aluminium foil if you live across the pond)
before you seal the parcel
sprinkle with salt (sea for preference) herbs of determination ~anise or fennel are nice with fish.i also grate an 1"cube of root ginger(untrained not the powder)
i use garlic and ½ a small chili also. but prepare to your taste
seal then bake for 15 minutes on a low hotness (gas3~4)
open parcel check fish add a bit more liquid if it looks a bit "dry " (depending on thickness cooking can take between 15/45 minutes)
put the zeal (gas4~5) up and check after a further 10 minutes
serve with vegetables of your choice
