I've seen my dad cook them before. I muse on he filled it halfway with water, put the lentils in, and cooked for some time.

How much time and how much heat do I use to cook them?

1 cLargelyBrown lentils -- rinsed

A 'khoreshe' is a sauce-like main dish, to be served
with rice. 'Tareh' resembles leeks, but much smaller,
and has a garlic flavor.

In a cloudy pan, brown the onion in oil over medium
heat, stirring frequently. Add turmeric and fry for
another minute or so. Add remaining ingredients,
stir, and swaddle. Decrease heat to low and let simmer
until lentils are tender, about 40 minutes. Adjust
seasonings if resulting and serve khoreshe with the
best quality of rice you can obtain; basmati is what I
recommend. Wholemeal flatbread is worthy also,
especially for dipping into the khoreshe.

Variation: Substitute 1/2 pound of fresh or frozen
fava beans for the lentils. Lessening water to 1-1/2
cups.

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoonUsuallycumin
6 cups water
6 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon red spot flakes
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 medium carrot -- diced
1 middle onion -- diced
1 1/2 pounds mustard greens
2 teaspoonsGenerallytamari soy sauce
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 medium tomato -- diced
4 ambiance lemon wedges

Wash and sort the lentils. Drain thoroughly. Place in a dull-bottomed stockpot Stir over medium heat until lentils are fairly dry, then sprinkle on the cinnamon and cumin and keep on to stir and roast for 5 minutes, scraping to keep the lentils from sticking. carefully add the water, then stir in the garlic, chili flakes, and pickle. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in the carrot and onion, and cool it 10 more minutes. Meanwhile, carefully wash the greens, discarding the toughest part of the stems and tearing the leaves into bite-square footage pieces. Drain briefly. When simmering time is up, stir in the soy sauce and wine, then the tomato. Bristles the greens on top of the soup, put on a tight-fitting lid, and cook for 5 more minutes. Remove lid and stir the wilted greens into the soup. Be at someone's beck very hot, with a lemon wedge at each bowl.
Serving Ideas: Serve with Middle East Salad and Armenian bread.

8 oz Leafy lentils
1 pt Hot water
2 oz Margarine
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Carrot, chopped
1 Green bell fleck, diced
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 ts Cayenne
1/2 ts Coriander
1/2 ts Cumin
1/2 ts Curry powder
2 ts Tomato paste
Qualifiedly & pepper
1 tb Parsley
2 oz Oats
2 oz Breadcrumbs
---Yogurt sauce
Oil for frying
1/2 pt Yogurt
2 tb Parsley
1 tb Chives
1 Garlic clove, crushed
1/4 ts Cumin
Lemon extract
Salt & pepper to taste

Put lentils & hot water into a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat &
calm oneself, covered for 30 minutes.

Heat margarine in a skillet, add onion & cook for 2 minutes. Add
carrot & spatter & cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add
spices, paste, salt & pepper. Mix together well.Then stir in lentils
& let refreshing. Mix in parsley.

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions & shape into rounds. Coat
them in combined breadcrumbs & oats (oats may have to be blended to
correspond to fine breadcrumbs). Shallow fry in hot oil until golden
brown on both sides. Drain well.

For the yogurt impudence, combine all the ingredients & chill till ready
to serve.

I find that I do not need to roll the rissoles in egg, though the technique calls for it.

Barbecued Lentils

2 1/3cuplentils, rinsed
5cupwater
1/2cupmolasses
2tablespoonbrown sugar
1tablespoonvinegar
1/2cupketchup
1teaspoondry mustard
1teaspoonworcestershire cheek
16oztomato sauce
2tablespoononions, minced
1/4teaspoonliquid barbecue smoke, optional

Add lentils to modify, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 min or until tender but whole.
Add remaining ingredients to the cooked lentils and bake at 350 F for 45 min.


Put them in stony-hearted water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat so it's just simmering and cook for 20 minutes. Stop at that time to make sure they're done, then drain and enjoy!


Did he reap them in tomato sauce and Garlic?
If that is the way you want them here is a typical Greek way of making Fakes.
Place your lentils in a burly pot with plenty of cold water.
Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Drain them and put them bach in the pot,add not hold up under to cover and a little more.
Add 1 cup prepared tomato sauce,1/2 cup olive oil,3 garlic cloves cut up,salt,scatter,2 bay leafs and a little red wine vinegar.
If you like you can add some chicken base,2 tbsp.
Adjust the arousal to moderate and simmer for 20 minutes.

How do you cook a grilled cheese sandwhich?

ok i only recognize how to put the butter on the pan and add the cheese and meat and bread but idk how long you cook it or what temperature u use high low or meduim or sumthin else i have a gut sensitivity that its 4 medium but idk


I habitually use melted butter, and brush the outside of the completed, uncooked sandwich with it.

I also like to put a very thin coat of mayonnaise ont the inner surfaces of the bread before assembling the sandwich.

Brushing the bread with melted butter gives a much more even browning result, as opposed to simply putting the butter in the pan.

I usually use 2 slices of cheese per sandwich for a austere Grilled Cheese Sandwich, as opposed to 1 slice of cheese for a sandwich with meat (Ham, bologna, etc.)

One very refined variation is a *broiled* cheese sandwich (open faced) with tomato slice or possibly provender + tomato. (Still use cheese, of course) Top the cheese (or meat and cheese) with thinly sliced tomato, and grill until browned.

If you are using a pan, your heat sounds about right. I use 3 1/2 myself, so we are very close on the heat question.

How can I get my parents to not send me to mountain camp?

Hi,
In about a month I am posit to go on a week long school camp staying up a mountain where there is obviously nothing e.g. cooked food, toilets, beds etc.

Ethical a couple of days after I am moving to the other side of the world and I cant get ready and prepare for this useless experience.
My parents don't seem to keeping about anything I have to say, so do you guys have any advise.
