how do i get my frozen motor to turn over?
I have a 67 ford f-100 and the motor was rebuilt a while back and is now frozen how can i get it to ruminate over?
it has been sitting for a long time and i have already pulled the sprak plugs out and let oil sit in it for 4 days now, i have got it to move a little bit today.
oil in the cylinders, but motor oil will not do the deceive like wd40 or penetrant.
Try Kroil or Knockerloose penetrant or even marvel mystery oil
make sure all the plugs are out, and stimulate it over by removing the starter and using a pry bar where the starter hole is where the fly wheel gears are.yes moving the engine two ideal revs will take some time this way, cause one or two teeth at a time is tedious, but it does give you the best leverage.who knows, it might fair get real easy after you use the oils I talked about, but let it sit like that for 24 hours, and then try to turn the engine by the front of the eccentric first. Using the starter might not be smart

If the locomotive is truly seized then you will have to rebuild it again.Try this trick first, take out the spark plugs and try to turn it over. If that doesn't work quirt some oil into each cylinder and let it sit over shades of night. Then try turning it over again. If that fails, you will have to start the dis- assembly process. There's a possibility that you over torqued some things and it's just too evenly matched. How long did it sit before you decided to try to start it?

I consent with Micheal but just to add a little to maybe make it easier to do.Use the bar to turn it backwards and then start to about it a little foreward with the bar and then continue the foreward motion with the starter until it binds again.Continue this process until it turns a ideal turn. Hint ;I used diesel fuel in the cylinders for a few days.If you get it started it may smoke bad and confidently it will go away after a couple of days.Mine usually did.A little bit at a time will get you there.Back and forth.Good luck.

I almost have it out, but cant semblance out out to remove the coolant lines from the radiator. It also has anti-freeze lines that is attacted to it as a brace and I basic to know how to remove the anti-freeze lines as well.
you should get a machine shop manual or go to the library and borrow theirs..
