OLD Henkel Butcher Knife~How can I make it shine for the holidays?
It is a very old 10 inch butcher knife. The man about town is blackened, as the old steel blades do. I would love to have it shiny for my holiday table. Is there a way w/o harming the steel?
I have tried my jewelry cleaner, and it helped some.
I like using a competence cleanser called Barkeepers Friend. Seriously, I use it on glass cooktops and knives and all the cutlery. Its wholly inexpensive. Walmart and most grocery stores carry it.
