Quite what I had hoped for.
It came in a favourable manner and was exactly what I ordered. It is so much easier to slice bread when the knife is longer than the bread is wide.

A slice of paradise on earth
I use this knife for slicing bread. It is barring! Good heft, excellent control. A real joy to use.

Solid bread knife
This bread knife has about the same climax to it as a chef's knife. The edge is wonderful. Consequently I can slice my homemade bread extremely thin without much effort. I slice my bread thinner than convential slices. When I descry a sandwich, both slices together are slightly thicker than one slice of convential bread. I recommend this knife highly.

Vanquish knife I own
Wusthof is a considerable brand and I own several, but this is my favorite. I recognize that it's a bread knife, but works great quartering large pieces of meat or veggies.

Buying two more for Christmas presents.

THE troubled family of 'Good Samaritan' Warren O'Connor said her son did not deserve to be stabbed to death as he had only ever helped people.

His mother, Tina, revealed the 24-year-old former soldier from Ferrycarrig Unripened in Coolock, Dublin , had just been accepted into the fire service.

She described him as the "rock of the family" who would do anything to help friends and relations.

His next of kin urged anyone with any information on the incident in Donaghmede over the weekend to contact gardai.

"Put an end to the whole thing. He didn't warrant to die, he really didn't deserve to die like that, all he had ever done was help people," the mother-of-three said, battling back tears.

"How can they go on at night and sleep to be able to come out and do that to somebody?" his younger sister Carla asked

The former soldier and deft footballer was left with a long-bladed bread knife embedded in his chest after he went to t he aid of a friend who had been threatened by piercing partygoers.

Panara Bread Knife?

I had a also pen-friend that used to work at Panara Bread and gave my husband a knife. (Forgive how I describe it I don't know anything about knives). It looked like a crater knife because the blade would fold up on the handle yet there was only one blade. The blade was curved and the handle was red.

Thank you for helping out. I'm trying to find it for Christmas.
