Home-made bread - good slicer?........?

Does anyone identify of a good slicer for home-made bread - I have used electric knives - but am looking at a Sunbeam Food Slicer - has anyone tried these for slicing to the quick -made bread?

I against to have one, but it didn't do a very good job on bread, so I've gone back to either my electric knife or a good serrated bread knife. I prefer a knife over just about anything else.

It's quality investing in a good quality knife if you're going to be slicing a lot of bread, but since I'm in Oz, I couldn't order you what brand to buy.

I assume that would smash your bread putting it through. I always stick to a sharp serated bread knife.

what is the best brand of coffee grinder. also electric vs. hand grinder? why?

also where is a area showing how to sharpen knives pref. with added video. can a bread knife be sharpened. (put in 2 questions because down on pts. they say) thanks.

I have a Cuisinart electric grinder (the only way to go is electric). I've had mine for over 10 years and no facer. I also have another that I use just for grinding spices...

Regarding your serrated knife-if it did not cost alot of money and is not high rank, better to just toss it and buy a new one. If it is high quality, you will want a pro to sharpen it--but it's not gonna be tinpot--they are labor intensive to sharpen.
