Not what I expected
I bought this as a honorarium for my mother. It burned instead of browned & the digital timer did not work. Amazon was great dollop me return it. I bought a Presto & it is wonderful!!! It could be just the one I bought, but I didn't recognize the mark name of Deni, so I will only buy what I am familiar with now.
Electrifying Pressure Cooker
I fondness this cooker.
My Mom gave me an electric pressure cooker in the 70's and
this is the first time I actually found one I would like.
Unsatisfying 2x
I purchased the Deni appliance and LOVED it. Then it impoverished after a few months of use. I would set the timer to say 40 min and skip off to take care of other things and when I would return to check on it, the timer still said 40 minutes! A brace of times I didn't release the pressure in time to prevent the food from thoroughly burning. SO I sent it back at a price of $20 in postage. Six weeks later, Deni sent a replacement. THIS ONE NEVER WORKED!!! The replacement had a flawed electronic keypad that makes no noise when you push the buttons and doesn't count down or shut off. The edibles will burn every time unless I set my oven timer and check on my own to see its progress. For as much as I paid, I'm not willing to do that. The secondarily one is going back too.
Gargantuan pressure cooker
This is a excellent item for reducing cooking time for most foods, especially brown rice!
Wonderful Cooker
I proclivity this pot ! I cook a lot of Ethnic dishes, where this pot comes in handy in pre-cooking many meats, 'rooty' veggies, legumes etc. I also use it as a 'even-sided' pot with another lid, simply because it is big and not extremely heavy to handle. It is electric, saving me a stove burner when I have to cook several things at the same be that as it may. Generally, I am very satisfied with the DENI products I own.

Worked weighty once
Bought this artefact for my wife, (she has wanted this product for ever) the seller was great we recieved it on time, but after the first use the thing worked basic then the darn thing broke. We contacted Deni for repairs, they said they'll send us a new one but they are out of stock and we wont see it plow the end of July (3 months away).
Deni Pressure cooker
This is a wonderful cooker I have had others before but this is the get the better of one. You will love it if you haven't had an electric pressure cooker before you will never go back to the non electric kind. The price is very reasonable too.
Yard goods - when you get one that doesn't die
The first one no longer powered on after about 3 weeks, the backer one no longer powered on after the 2nd time I used it, and I've had the third one going strong for about 5 months now.

Obviously, there's something wrong with the sketch out. Thankfully though, I may have a good one, or perhaps they fixed it and I have a revised model.

I do not recommend buying one due to the issues though. If you do have one, Deni's customer care is great and will send you a brand new one if your current one dies for no charge.

So, all in all, it's a good product -- if it doesn't die.
Perfect Junk!
We purchased this pressure cooker and it poverty-stricken after about three uses. We had it repaired and again broke after about four or five uses! This was way too much money on a pressure cooker to have it break every time you use it! Do not waste your money!!
Garbage! Find something else
I bought mine from Kohl's. The container itself was undamaged. Taking the unit out of the box, the plastic base stayed in the styrofoam packing while the rest of the module came out. This left exposed wires and the electric guts exposed. Obviously, I never used it so I don't be aware how well it works. It's a poor design. I am returning it and going to find a better product. I won't be a Deni though.

Empire State of Scandal: Now, It's Rangel ABC News (blog)

It's Paterson Keep a weather eye open for versus Rangel Watch -- two pressure-cooker political scandals involving New York Democrats vie for notice as decisions are made and details emerge.

Today's tough headline for Governor David Paterson includes a new, isolated ethics charge against him, this time for allegedly  accepting free New York Yankee playoff tickets during last year's championship run. This mistreat-of-power accusation comes on top of allegations his office tried to cover-up a domestic ferocity incident involving one of his aides.

Meanwhile, Rep. Charles Rangel, under pressure and scrutiny from within his party and without, (temporarily) stepped down from his energetic position as chairman  of the House Ways and Means Committee. Rangel is swept up in an ethics study of his own, involving his conduct in various business ventures.

Both politicians have been at the center of relentless media coverage, as you can see from the New York Position cover above. Both steadfastly deny wrongdoing.

Thanks a lot.

If one car can do the work of 3, get it. I don't like the Deni brand myself, but I noticed on the side (their commercial type crap that pops up) that Cuisinart sells one for $148. I'd go with that one. Equitable the rep with that name is worth $9.
