How does digital pressure cooker differ from crockpot?

From the symantics, I think the pressure cooker uses steam pressure hence resulting in faster cooking times. But, is the final result different between these two appliances? I generally like roasts and stews. Which appliance do you recommend?

You're principled, the pressure cooker is faster. Both methods result in a tender meat. I think that the pressure cooker yields a superior stock or stock. The high pressure drawing out flavor from the meat without changing the flavor of the meat itself. I love roast cooked in a pressure cooker, the juices fancy a savory gravy.

The pressure cooker is faster.

The crock pot is slower. It does it at a lessen temperature. ie you can put your pot roast/stew in early in the day on low and come home in the evening to a nice cooked breakfast.

pressure cookers cook in a commotion

crockpots take a long time to cook

i prefer, hands down, the crockpot cooking method.
you can in check a cp much easier than you can a pc.
pc's can be tempermental and tricky to use
cp's are set and forgets

use the cp for roasts and stews

You're hand, the pressure cooker is faster. Both methods result in a tender meat. I think that the pressure cooker yields a superior stock or bouillon. The high pressure drawing out flavor from the meat without changing the flavor of the meat itself. I love roast cooked in a pressure cooker, the juices act as if a savory gravy.

the pressure cooker does use steam pressure to cook the edibles faster......I think the results would be almost the same.....if you want a roast or stew for dinner and unbiased do not have the time to prepare it to go into a crockpot, just put it in the pressure cooker and it will be done in half the time.....

crockpots are good if you want the bread to cook at a slower rate practically all day long.....they are good to cook food that you can let cook all day protracted that way when you come home, you do not have to cook, just dip out of the crockpot and serve.....

Digital Pressure Cooker problem!!?

I well-grounded bought a Cook's Essential 8.8 quart digital pressure cooker and have a problem. No matter how much liquid it always evalporates all of the fluid and when I open it there is none and the food is burned. I've put in the correct amount of liquid and closed the pot correctly. It does have steam duck out out of the top vent quite a bit. What am I doing wrong.

i have never Euphemistic pre-owned a digitial cooker or canner , but once i followed a recipe from Ball for canning + found no liquid left + my food had burned in the jars-some poor . i always put in more water than needed when canning from then on . other than that you prob have the heat to high . once you get to the desired pressure lower the heat.
