Question about Pressure canning?

I prerequisite to buy an electronic pressure cooker. Is it big enough for canning? I am scared to use an actual pressure canner and thought that a digital one will be safer.
I want to can meat

Have never hardened an electronic pressure cooker but have used the old fashioned type many times to prepare meals and also to can.

There really is no danger if you follow the directions and they are very unadorned.

I think the only way you could have a problem using one is if you put foods into the cooker that you are not supposed to like rice, oatmeal, the kind of foods that fizz alot.

All cookers come with great recipe/cook books and all the simple details you will emergency to create great meals or can almost anything.

Do not be afraid of them, they are simple to use and safe.

The pressure cookers of today w/ an elliptical-form lid are safe. Just keep the recommended amt of liquid in them (read directions).

As far as cnning, no, they are probalby not big enough. I use a the water bath method for canning anyway.
