can i use any other metal wheel for cooking rice inside the national rice cooker, as it is very expensive to replace the original. thanks for replying

No. It would have to be the same thickness (so as to tension evenly), the same depth (to meet the element on the bottom) and the same width.

You can get a new rice cooker for under $30, probably cheaper than buying a replacement addendum for the National.

Hey!
Of order you can. My mom, for example, makes the best rice ever in the microwave using a simple glass bowl (which of undoubtedly can stand the heat).
Replacing a national rice cooker is expensive so try the microwave style.

Use baking soda and scrub them with a sponge. Do not use metal wool.
