Pressure cooker recipe for roast beef?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's practicable to make roast beef (prime rib, NOT pot roast) in the pressure cooker. If I wanted it medium rare, how long would I have to cook it for (and at principal or low pressure)? I have a Fagor Duo 8L pressure cooker.

Any other tips would be helpful. I need instructions about how to do this as I have not used a pressure cooker or cooked roast beef before.
I already checked google before I posted this dubiousness and alot of the recipes out there are for pot roast. In my question, I said I want a recipe for prime rib, NOT pot roast.

No, No, No, It must be roasted , if you carbuncle it you'll ruin it.

How to cook a corned beef brisket in a pressure cooker?

Can I get a corned beef brisket in a pressure cooker? How can I do this? I have never used the pressure cooker before...

Yes, it can be done. Did an instruction instructions come with your pressure cooker? It will tell you what pressure it is set to. The most common is 10 PSI, but some can be 5. A pressure canner can go to 15 PSI. The pressure of your cooker will determine cooking point.

Here's a generic instruction that should get you started.

P.S. Pay close attention to the instruction to ".. pressure to outflow on its own". Do not try to open the pot until it has come down to ambient pressure. You can get badly burned if you open too early.
