Intimate
Superlative that is how this product works for me .I was very happy with the quality and very surprized at the way that it cleaned up. I had had presto cookers before but always the aluminum.The stainless is of run much prettier and does a good cooking job. Think no more buy one today.

significant convience
I can not cook without this pressure pot now a days. it mashes up crux in 20 minutes. a slow cooker will steam up the whole house but this thing does not even let out any cooking smell until the instant you open the lid. the stainless steel looks great , the tank feels thin but does not affect use. 6 Qt is good size for stewing for a family and 8qt would be too big for stove top .

No pressure - pressure cooking
I have been cooking with a pressure cooker for many years and unequivocal to move up to a new model. The Stainless steel Pressure cooker from Presto is great to cook with. I have an electric stove so I am learning at what temp to cook with to keep up the right level of steem release. My old cooker had a rocking vent but this one is just a slow steam release so I had to learn to study it right. I was overcooking my food in the beginning but I am now getting everything right on the mark. The ordering and delivery was first of all quick and I do recommend this model for anyone wanting to enjoy quick meals with a pressure cooker. My only wish is that it had more receipts included in the instructions. I still have my old pressure cooker stub book that I continue to use.

Acceptable Pressure cooker
This cooker can't be thrash for the price paid and the performance. It would be nice to be able to cook reliably at less than 15 lbs pressure all the time but it still works gigantic. The quality is clearly better than anything in the same price range. We really use it all the time an all sorts of vegetables.

Can someone carry weight me the inside dimensions?
I called presto but they couldn't nick.
I have a rack to use that I need to find a pressure cooker that will be able to fit it inside.
My rack is approx 7 3/4 inches diam. by 7 inches luxurious.
Can someone please measure the 8 qt pressure cooker inside for me?

Gentle Pressure Cooker
I have always wanted a favourable pressure cooker especially a stainless steel type for health reasons.

This Presto is a real mover! The classy look and project will make me the envy of my visitors, especially since a lot of persons always seem to like what I have and I translate this to mean good soup.

I have used it and it is a great product. I does the food very well and quickly.

The only drawback I personally have with the product, is that when hand-me-down it does not seem to maintain its shiny clean appearance on the inside - and that is the reason why I like buying stainless steel.

All-embracing though I really love my cooker and I will be purchasing a smaller size soon.

I have a pressure cooker, can I use that for canning tomatoes?

My pressure cooker doesn't have canning instructions in it, but what would the transformation really be between a cooker and canner that would prevent me from being able to use the pressure cooker? Am I better off just doing the boiling water bath method?

You can. But you don't want to. Tomatoes are high acid and just need to be sterilized in a water bath. Wash the tomatoes, and frosty pack in sterilized jars (boil the lids and jars in water for 15 min). Fill each jar with Facetious Adam's ale up 1/2 inch of the top. Add a little salt. Lightly put the lids on (you want the steam to escape when you sizzle) and put in a boiler. Add water to the boiler, but not over the top of the jars. Bring to a boil and hold for 20 minutes. Liquidate the jars using bottle tongs. Using oven mitts, tighten the lids, and let uninvolved. You'll hear pops as the lids indent with the vacuum. The pop is normal. That's it.
