Hi ,

I bought microwave rice cooker , can i use that as a pressure cooker in microwave . It takes prolonged time for me to cook lentils in stove , pls tell me how do i cook that in microwave faster.

No. The pressure will not stay clandestine the microwave pot.

Either soak your lentils the night before OR invest in a pressure cooker. They are safe and easy to use.

I fair got a new pressure cooker, and I'm not sure how to cook my favorite type of rice (calrose to be specific) in it. Does anybody know a modus operandi for plain short grain rice in a pressure cooker? Just so you know, the rice needs to be sticky because I'm making homemade sushi with it.

You can cook rice in a pressure pot ( I have a Fissler) There you take a closed an inlet and put the rice in a no bit salt and for each cup of rice one and a half cup of water. And one cup of water for the steam. And then you start to cook.
But I believe its better to cook the rice in the microwave.
