Is pot poisonous to frequent users if they stop by their mid-20's? how bad are the long term effects for them? is it less harmful than cigarettes?
Take it from a ole pot smoker, now for 40 years And I'm, I'm, I'm slender. Just joking with the I'm. But you don't fine pot heads acting in a disorderly manner and fighting , Like drunks do. You don't penalty pot heads causing traffic accidents and killing others or crippling. The way drunks do. The only way a pot head is included in the above said, Is they were drinking while smoking pot. Liquor kill many brain cells. And as you know excessive drinking harms so many other body organs. Smoke to much pot you'll eat and go to slumber. Wake up no hang-over. Pot better than cigs. But with the problems of drunks and its health problems. Can you figuire its constitutional. Laws need changing.
I don't after opinions on pot, or personal experiences. I want links to reputable web sites, and titles of useful books. Ministry web sites would be great, as well as info on studies that have been done.
Preferably the info should include the effects of pot when eaten, as opposed to spoked, as this method wouldn't misfortune the lungs in the same way.
I know pot makes people really lazy, but I don't know why. I also know some people seem to desire more and more of it over time, but I don't know if this is necessarily a physical side effect, or just something certain people select to do.
Also, sometimes when people have done drugs for many years, they appear to be less able to learn, and to have impaired fine motor skills, but I don't recognize if this is attributable to pot, or if other drugs must be involved.
There are so many biased sources, that either say "All drugs are bad!" or "Pot is astounding and can't hurt you." I don't want either of those. I want the unbiased truth.
There are, unfortunately, no unbiased sources of info on the effects of marijuana on the internet. There are only biased sources, so the answer to your question is "nowhere can you find trustworthy, unbiased source of info on good and bad effects of marijuana."
The conclude for this is multifaceted. First of all, the government has been very restrictive in terms of the kind of research it has allowed on the effects of marijuana over the years. Ever since the Controlled Substances Act, which classified marijuana as a Register I narcotic, it has been all but impossible for legitimate researchers to get approval for any study for any purpose other than to demonstrate that marijuana is "pernicious."
Secondly, any source of info on the internet is going to have it's bias. You can find advocates for the use of marijuana including medical use, or you can find people who push all its evils, but you aren't going to find one reputable place that combines both sides of the story into one and tries to confess you what to trust.
I wish my answer was different. You will probably get links to websites with information, but remember that they will have their affect unduly one way or the other. For example, the website "normyl" is the National Association for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, and it has an agenda. The NIDA website is the State Institute on Drug Abuse and they have a very different agenda.
please and offer you :) and i didnt know where else to put it, soo yeah. btw this is for a friend NOT ME so dont be saying dont do it.
