I followed the Pfitzinger-Douglas 18/55 down (18 weeks, 55 mile important-mile week; I in truth made it 19 and added one week on the front end, because I was getting antsy to start). Is there only one pot of gold, or does EVERY rainbow have a pot of gold at the end? Have you ever wondered who put the gold there and why? What on motivation could they have?

There must be more than one pot of gold, but is the pot of gold letter for letter a pot of gold or is it a figurative pot of gold? Before I was married, my future spouse and I were taking a long drive to another town. It was raining with the sun shining at the same measure and sure enough, a beautiful rainbow kept pace with us. We went around a long bend in the road and exactly drove into the end of the rainbow. At first the end of the rainbow was on the left side of the hood in front of my future spouse. As the car continued around the bend, the rainbow precisely ended on the windshield right in front of my spouse and I could see it shining through the windshield on my spouse. True story. It hadn't happened before then, and hasn't happened since. And I can candidly tell you my spouse is the best thing that ever happened to me and is truly my "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."

I grew up in the 80s and reward having a very colorful picture on my wall as a child. It was a boy and a girl, sliding down a rainbow, into a pot of gold. I really loved this see in the mind's eye, and am trying to find it online. If anyone knows about this picture, or know of a website where I can find it, please respond. Thanks.

It was a notice sold at Toys R Us and other stores like KMart. You are going to have to get one on eBay. Sometimes the memory is better than the bill itself. I was able to find my "zebra" painting from my youth..
